Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten?From my Dad: Don’t marry anyone you haven’t know for 4 years; they can fake it for 3.
Piece of advice for people entering your field / looking to excel in your field?Find a way to help a team achieve their goals and work harder than anyone around you and you’ll be successful. Don’t be afraid to take a chance to start something new.

Did you have a job that might surprise people? Yes, the summer before leaving for college, I worked in a factory manufacturing cardboard boxes. That experience sealed the deal for me about pursuing a college education!
What do you value most about CWC? The opportunity to network with such a diverse group of professional women. I only wish I could participate in more events.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten? Always be grateful for what you have and willing to share it with others.
Piece of advice for people entering your field / looking to excel in your field? Love what you do, have a love for learning, passion for people, patience, and tenacity.
Proud moment or accomplishment you’d like to share? As a single mom, watching my only child, Damien Hooper-Campbell, grow to be a man with purpose, a husband who cherishes his wife, and one who loves his family.
First Job in high school: Summer job at age 14 as file clerk in the local Tax Collector’s Office.
Dream Job (besides current): A role that touches and inspires young Black children to go after their dreams.
Bucket List Item: Traveling to South Africa and Australia
Hobbies: Cooking, participating in my book group; movies in general, foreign films in particular; and early morning walks
