First Job in high school: Nursery school aid – paid in cash. But, my best job was being the after hour and weekend operator at Duncaster. I got paid well more than minimum wage and got to do all of my homework. They replaced all of us with an automated system right after I left for college. I hope I make it through life only being replaced by automation once.
Dream Job (besides current): This is more of my dream idea – I do not think this job currently exists in such a specific way. I want to head up a social enterprise corporation that invests in women and minority owned, community based, food trucks/small restaurants that serve healthier, affordable versions of traditionally ethnic foods.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten? When you mess up remember what another business owner told me, “You didn’t invent this mistake.” So, go easy on yourself and move on.
Piece of advice for people entering your field / looking to excel in your field? If you don’t love writing, don’t go into PR. If you love writing, and feel the need to do it every day, you’ve found the right field.
