Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten?   Not all bad things come to hurt you.  (Italian proverb)

Piece of advice for people entering your field / looking to excel in your field? Be aware of how technology will affect your work and strive to solve problems that others don’t see.

Proud moment or accomplishment you’d like to share?    I am never prouder than when I see the intellectual and emotional maturity of my two young adult daughters, who continually amaze me.

First Job in high school: Copywriter

Dream Job (besides current):  U.S. Senator

Bucket List Item:  Besides an African Wildlife Safari (which I have done!) – visiting Barcelona.

Hobbies:   Yoga, skiing, beachcoming on Martha’s Vineyard.

Favorite Sports Team:  New York Yankees

Vacation Spot:  Martha’s Vineyard

Favorite Movie:  Tie between Young Frankenstein &  She’s the Man.

What do you value most about CWC?  Networking with fabulous professional women.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten?  Negotiate! Women tend to ask less than men for positions, promotions and raises. Don’t be afraid to ask.

Piece of advice for people entering your field / looking to excel in your field?  Pay attention to what fires you up and what brings you joy. Then your job won’t feel like work.

Proud moment or accomplishment you’d like to share?  Recently selected as Co-Chair of a national Task Force to determine the nutritional quality of food at food banks around the country.

First Job in high school: Lee’s famous fried chicken fast food: I can probably still smell the grease if I try hard.   

Bucket List Item: The Amalfi coast in Italy.

Hobbies:  Running, listening to music, reading, visiting local breweries.

Favorite Sports Team:  Boston Red Sox

Vacation Spot:  Wrightsville Beach in NC with my family.

Favorite Movie:  A Few Good Men
